Position: Real Estate Clerk
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Arnprior, Ontario

Job Description:
As a Real Estate Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting our real estate law practice. Your responsibilities will include managing and processing real estate transactions, preparing legal documents, and ensuring that all transactions comply with legal requirements and firm policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review real estate transaction documents, including agreements of purchase and sale, transfer documents, and mortgage documents.
• Conduct title searches, order and review property reports, and resolve title issues as necessary.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
• Manage the preparation and submission of documents to land registries and other relevant authorities.
• Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date files and records for each transaction.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all real estate transactions.
• Provide excellent client service and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Clerk or in a similar role within a law firm.
• Comprehensive knowledge of real estate law, including the preparation and processing of real estate documents and transactions.
• Proficiency in using legal software and technology related to real estate transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and the community

Education:
• Completion of a law clerk program or a related field from a recognized institution is preferred.
