We are looking for dynamic, reliable instructors to join our team! 13 First Aid provides fun, practical training to the public and to groups throughout the Ottawa Valley.

Responsibilities include:
- Ensure all course materials and practices meet Red Cross standards
- Provide a positive, welcoming and engaging learning environment
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback

Qualifications for Youth Course Leaders:
- Certified in Standard First Aid, CPR-C and AED (or willing to obtain)
- Youth Instructors - Certified Red Cross Youth Leader (willing to assist in training for the right candidate)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to attend our training sites in Arnprior and/or Carleton Place
- Ability to travel to various locations in the west end of Ottawa
- Previous teaching or training experience is a plus
- ECE or childcare experience preferred
- Weekend and PD Day experience
- Police record check

Qualifications for First Aid Instructors:
- Certified in Standard First Aid, CPR-C and AED (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid Instructors - Certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor (willing to assist in training for the right candidate)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to attend our training sites in Arnprior and/or Carleton Place
- Ability to travel to various locations in the west end of Ottawa
- Previous teaching or training experience is a plus
- Medical / First Responder experience preferred
- Police record check
