Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew. The Arnprior AJ location is based out of AJ Charbonneau Public School on Baskin Drive. We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging permanent RECE for our School Age Program starting January 2025. The rate of pay is up to $26.00 per hour for qualified candidates (inclusive of all wage grants for qualifying hours, base rate is $23.52).

Hours of Work would be daily before & after school 5.5 hours from 7-9:30 & 2:30-5:30 and 7.5 hours on non-school days (pdays, march break etc). There is the possibility for additional hours as well for relief if interested.

This posting is for an already existing position that will be opening with the following requirements:
• Registered Early Childhood Educator
• Experience with school age children in a licensed child care setting
• Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
• Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Proof of up to date immunizations and ability to get note from a medical practitioner indicating good health
• WHMIS, AODA, CCEYA certificates (we can help a successful candidate secure these certificates)

Recommended:
• Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH
